Song of the day: Mahjongg/"Aluminum"

I don't know much about the band Mahjongg, aside from the fact they've got a delightfully weird name. I picked up their full-length album over the weekend, in preparation for seeing them at South by Southwest later this week, but didn't realize until this morning that they released an EP last year on Barsuk Records or that it was available through Rhapsody. The song "Aluminum" chugs along like a turgid post-punk b-side, replete with angular, quickly-strummed guitars and hushed vocals (and a little keyboard & drum machine to boot). If your coffee didn't wake you up this morning, this song will. Enjoy the music.
