Gene Harris & the Three Sounds

In the mid-1990s when I was working as a lonely, underpaid CD store clerk, I started to run across Blue Note reissues of some of their artists' funkier output as part of the "Rare Grooves" series. One of those artists was Gene Harris, who was the leader of a highly-enjoyable and eminently-listenable group called The Three Sounds (and a talented artist in his own right).
