Song of the day: Longwave/"Make Me Whole"

NYC-based dreampop band Longwave released one of my favorite albums of 2003, the highly-recommended Strangest Things. Prior to that album, the band's major label debut, they released another LP, Endsongs, on indie label Luna Sea. Endsongs was more uneven than the band's second release, but included some strong songs that indicated the direction the band was heading. One of my favorites off that first album is the ballad "Make Me Whole." The song is awash in distorted guitars and swirling vocals. Enjoy.
