Song of the day: Beat Happening/"Dreamy"
I hung out last night at CakeShop, a new record store/coffee joint/bar in New York's East Village. I made a killing there this week on some crucial early 90s vinyl, and last night played God on the bar's well-appointed jukebox. One of the songs I played was Beat Happening's single "Dreamy," a shambling slice of indiepop pie. Enjoy!

Man, I would have never even thought to look up Calvin Johnson's torpedo-hum voice on Rhapsody. Thanks for pointing it out for SubPop, K Records, etc., fans.
