Coming soon: NoisePop Festival 2005

As a confirmed music junkie, one of the great things about living in San Francisco is the NoisePop Festival that graces our city every February. NoisePop, now in its 13th year, makes it easy to soak up *lots* of great indie bands playing local venues at affordable prices. And for people (like me) who also go to Austin every March for the South by Southwest music festival, NoisePop offers a great way to get excited again about seeing band after band (after band after...) playing your favorite music.

Over the past few days, the folks at NoisePop HQ began to announce some of the artists already scheduled to perform at NoisePop 2005, including The Polyphonic Spree, Nada Surf, Ted Leo and the Pharmacists, Joanna Newsom and Amon Tobin. This playlist includes music from many of these artists. Enjoy!
